We’re looking for someone to join us at Hampshire Workspace to answer calls for a busy private GP practice in our building. You will also provide reception and administrative tasks for the practice and for Hampshire Workspace. You will be part of a small friendly team working in our serviced offices building at 37-39 Southgate Street SO23 9EH.
You will be working a minimum of 14 hours per week (plus holiday cover) spread over 2 days and one half day. The hours will be mutually agreed but, in general terms, our hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be paid £11.00 per hour. There is onsite parking, subject to availability.
Your Key Tasks will be
- Telephone answering for busy GP practice appointments and other related tasks
- Customer facing reception duties
- Take payments
- Sort incoming mail
- Frank outgoing mail
- Photocopying as required
Essential Experience/Skills Needed
- Previous customer facing reception role
- Previous experience of office duties
- Excellent telephone manner (professional and friendly)
- Ability to multi task
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online booking systems
- Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE/’O’ level or equivalent)
Desirable Experience Needed
- GP / Medical Practice experience
